This one was a happy accident. The original photo is not so colorful. When I was working on it post-production I tried something on a whim, ah inspiration, and this was the result.

Alone

This poor tree was one of the only left standing after the "Big Thompson" dam break flooded Rocky Mountain National Park strewing debris and creating an aluvial fan. I posted this one because it is one of my sister's favorites.

Abstract

This one was captured in the Tropical Garden at the Denver Botanical Gardens on Cher and I's honeymoon in July of 2005. It's an abstract in that I removed it from it's natural environment to show you what I thought was important.
